Perspectives from the Northern Rockies

"This rugged area of BC is remote, vast, and unique. It has been called ‘BC’s gift to the world’.”

Mountains have a way of bringing us back down to earth. They demand respect, so you have to live in the moment out there. In a way, it is medicine to me. An escape, and release from the everyday bustle of our modern lifestyle and obligations. I have always felt a deep connection to the Northern Rockies. From a young age, my fondest memories are time spent within its few provincial parks, and as I grow older, the draw has become even more irresistible. This rugged area of BC is remote, vast, and unique. It has been called “BC’s gift to the world”, and when you explore its peaks and valleys, you quickly realize why.
